Not sure if this counts as a ‘build project’s…my lockdown practice of learning how to paint more realistic pilots. Daredevil character is 1/6 scale, spitfire pilot is 1/10 scale. Just don’t zoom in too close!
Small matter of now building the plane! Got all my cnc cut wooden for a 1/1.56 scale jerry bates hawker sea fury. My first big one. I’ll need my B before I’ll be able to fly it at 10kg
I’ve been following Darren Carnall’s youtube tutorial on painting realistic busts. He uses brushes and water based Vallejo paints (easily available model paints). I buy the casts off eBay (very cheap, a fiver or so, so good for practice).
