Alex Blackwell’s Rat Riot mk 2

After the maiden flights of the Rat Riot4 I decided to make some modifications. I didn’t like how ‘heavy’ the plane felt and it needed a lot of up elevator to maintain level flight. Plus it was pig ugly…
I built a new fuselage entirely from foamboard, eliminating the ply box structure from the previous version and putting in a correction to the stabilizer angle. I designed a new nose based on the FliteTest Mini-Guinea, slimmed in width and enlarged in the other dimensions by about 40%. The AUW is reduced by 271g and it’s a bit prettier. Hopefully the geometry change will improve the flight characteristics and I measured 50A on a 4S pack which makes 800W.
